My friend is the founder of this awesome organization called Both Hands. Both Hands Foundation works with adoptive families to help offset the high expense of adoption. Instead of simply giving grants, or interest free loans, they put together a team of people who send sponsorship letters as if they were in a Race-For-A-Cure event. Instead of running a race, playing in a golf tournament, etc. the crew will spend the day working at the home of a widow or widower who has projects, upkeep, repairs... that they are not able to do. By doing so, they are not only helping an orphan get a family, but also help a needy widow at the same time.
